I am doing a personal version of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow for a class. My idea is of the headless horseman as a scarecrow, animated by the ancient tree that he appeared near.

Now that school is back in, these morning exercises are difficult to make the time for but they are also all the more important. Would you believe that I once went 10 weeks without drawing because ART school was keeping me too busy? Crazy !

I went to LA and attended Marshall Vandruff's amazing workshop on visual story telling. If you have any interest in communicating with images, his lectures are a must.
Since I have been on the road for 6 days,my drawing has been limited to quickie sketchbook thumbnails. Here are some environments ideation that I did on the plane.

Since returning form London, I have gotten back into the daily groove of morning figure drawing.
